CRG Residential Announces Redevelopment Leadership Promotions

CRG Residential, a national multifamily construction firm specializing in apartment renovations and value-add projects, announced today the promotions of Chris Langebartels to Assistant Vice President of Redevelopment and Andrew Hubertz to Assistant Director of Operations – Redevelopment.

Langebartels has been with CRG for nearly 10 years and has advanced through multiple leadership roles within the Redevelopment Division, beginning as an Assistant Superintendent before progressing to Superintendent, Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, and now Assistant Vice President. Throughout his tenure, Langebartels has demonstrated strong operational expertise, a commitment to client service, and a passion for building collaborative, high-performing teams. In his new role, Langebartels will report to Mark Thompson and work alongside him to provide oversight of the Redevelopment Division, supporting projects from initial client engagement and preconstruction through project close-out.

With Langebartels’ promotion, CRG Residential also announced the promotion of Andrew Hubertz to Assistant Director of Operations – Redevelopment. Hubertz joined CRG more than seven years ago as an Assistant Superintendent and has since advanced through roles as Project Engineer and Project Manager. Known for his steady leadership and ability to manage complex multifamily renovation projects, Hubertz has become a trusted operational leader within the division. As Assistant Director of Operations – Redevelopment, Hubertz will report to Dave Langebartels and oversee the division’s field professionals, project managers, and project engineers, supporting consistent execution and operational excellence across CRG’s national portfolio of apartment renovation and redevelopment projects.

These leadership advancements support CRG Residential’s long-term growth and succession planning. In 2027, long-time leaders Mark Thompson and Dave Langebartels plan to step down from their current roles. At that time, Langebartels will transition into Vice President of Redevelopment, and Hubertz will assume the role of Director of Operations – Redevelopment.
