The Marketing Manager is responsible for leading and executing CRG Residential’s (“Company”) enterprise‑wide marketing strategy, as well as supporting brand growth and business development initiatives across all business units.
This role blends strategic leadership with hands‑on execution, requiring an individual who can think independently, understand the Company’s diverse operating platforms, and proactively make data‑driven recommendations to senior leadership.
The Marketing Manager reports directly to the President and works closely with team members in all divisions to ensure consistent, compelling, and effective branding and messaging across the organization. The role also serves as CRG’s internal point leader on marketing‑related technology and innovation, ensuring the Company remains at the forefront of modern marketing practices.
Primary Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Leadership
- Develop, own, and execute CRG Residential’s comprehensive marketing strategy, aligning brand positioning with Company growth objectives and business development priorities.
- Translate high-level brand and business objectives into clear, actionable marketing plans and project scopes.
- Act as a strategic partner to the leadership team, making independent, informed recommendations to enhance brand awareness, market presence, and deal/project‑level storytelling.
- Gain a deep understanding of CRG’s various business units (real estate development/capital, construction, exteriors, redevelopment, and corporate operations) to ensure messaging supports enterprise goals.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure marketing effectiveness and return on investment.
Brand Management & Consistency
- Serve as steward of the CRG brand, ensuring consistent visual identity, tone, and messaging across all platforms, business units, and external communications.
- Oversee the creation, maintenance, and enforcement of brand standards and guidelines across the enterprise (e.g., project signage, website, marketing collateral, bid packages).
- Collaborate with each business unit to ensure branding and messaging are aligned while allowing for appropriate market‑specific customization.
- Work closely with the real estate development and asset management teams on new development branding strategies (e.g., project naming, themes, logos).
Digital Marketing & Communications
- Own and manage the Company website, ensuring content remains current, compelling, and aligned with strategic priorities.
- Lead CRG’s LinkedIn presence and broader social media strategy, including content development, posting cadence, messaging, and performance tracking.
- Develop thought‑leadership, project, and company‑wide content that supports brand awareness, recruiting, investor relations, and business development.
- Evaluate and implement digital tools and platforms that enhance marketing efficiency and impact.
AI & Marketing Innovation
- Stay at the leading edge of AI and emerging technologies relevant to marketing, branding, and communications.
- Identify, test, and implement AI‑driven tools to improve content creation, analytics, campaign performance, and operational efficiency.
- Educate internal stakeholders on best practices and opportunities for AI‑enabled marketing within CRG.
Marketing Collateral & Business Development Support
- Oversee the creation and ongoing management of all marketing collateral and branded materials, including presentations, brochures, qualifications packages, proposals, and digital assets.
- Support the real estate development and capital markets teams by assisting with equity offering materials, pitch decks, and investor‑facing communications.
- Assist with preparation of marketing narratives, graphics, and supporting materials for RFPs, RFQs, and public‑private partnership pursuits.
Events & External Engagement
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee corporate and project‑related events, including company gatherings, investor events, industry conferences, project groundbreakings, and grand openings.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure events align with branding, messaging, and strategic objectives.
- Support planning and execution for industry trade shows and conferences; occasional travel may be required.
- Act as primary point of contact for public relations firms and manage all external communications/PR activities.
Budget Management
- Develop and manage the annual marketing budget in coordination with the business development team and Company leadership.
- Track spending, evaluate effectiveness, and reallocate resources as necessary to maximize impact and ROI.
- Lead quarterly budget review meetings with stakeholders to compare actuals vs. budget and lead discussion on performance evaluation of marketing spend during the period.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, consultants, designers, and agencies as needed.
Collaboration & Special Projects
- Work cross‑functionally with business development, development, construction, asset management, capital markets, and HR teams to support Company initiatives.
- Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as required to advance CRG’s strategic objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 7+ years of progressive marketing experience, preferably within real estate, development, construction, professional services, or a related industry.
- Proven ability to operate independently while contributing at a strategic leadership level.
- Strong understanding of branding, digital marketing, content strategy, and social media platforms (with emphasis on LinkedIn).
- Demonstrated experience managing budgets, vendors, and multiple concurrent initiatives.
- High level of intellectual curiosity and comfort adopting new tools, particularly AI‑enabled marketing technologies.
- Excellent written, visual, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage both strategic initiatives and hands‑on execution.
